New member and pattern

I have added Mush to our list of participants (yay!). S/he has also pointed us to her free pattern list, which includes some very cute angora booties.

Ingrid's two-tone

Here is a picture of 2 types of booties that ingrid made. Both are from Knitting for baby with slight modifications.



Yesterday I gave away my first pair of completed booties. i gave the hippie booties to their rightful owner, and they were too small. dangit! the baby's older sister quickly adopted them for her baby doll. at least they fit something.

I started these before The knit-along, but I thought I would post about them here anyway. I finished the hippie baby booties

i made these out of a wool blend sock yarn that I picked up in Denmark. they are a modified version of the booties in Knitting for Baby.

Slow start

Well, we are off to a slow start. Not too many people interested, but it will still be fun. I dont actually have any members to officially add, but my friend in my knitting circle was working on a bootie, so i am forcibly adding her.

There have been a few interested parties in the knitter's review forums. Send me your blog address (or just leave a comment) and i will add your name to the list.
